Sulumani Chimbetu takes his act to Karoi where he is staging a show at Dugan Farm in the Tengwe area. The artiste is one of the most prominent in the country and his dendera music is set to usher in the independence mood tonight.

Jah Army at Spillway

Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, Spillway Pub and Grill is one of the coolest spots to go and relax.

Today the venue plays host to Jah Prayzah and his troops, with the top artiste set to light up the place with his hit songs.

At the present moment, it might be safe to say that Jah Prayzah is the biggest artiste in the country and he has always proven his worth during live performances. The lanky singer has already confirmed a new album in the pipeline and fans who wish the listen to some of the songs on the new project have to make a date with The Third Generation band today.

Jah Prayzah will be supported by the lady-of-the-moment Lady Storm, who he features in his music video “Eriza”.

Motor Action Independence Party

After a very successful Easter Sunday Party last month, which attracted hundreds of fun lovers, Platinum Entertainment is hosting the Independence Eve Party at Motor Action Sports Club tonight.

Of late, Motor Action Sports Club has become the ultimate Sunday destination for multitudes of merrymakers and considering that people are in celebratory mood, today’s party is bound to be bigger.

Besides Platinum’s resident DJs who include Candyman, Skatta, Yung Fresh, Phatman and MC Big Dollar Bruce, there are guest artistes performing tonight. Some of the guest DJs and musicians entertaining fans tonight include Legend Elly, Oskid, Trae Yung, Cables, Fuji, Sadiq and Punchline Entertainment to name just a few.

The Switch at News Café

Primarily a marketing and brand management company, Hidden Culture has become one of Zimbabwe’s leading brands in international dance music concepts and events.

Hidden Culture is hosting a party dubbed “The Switch” tonight at News Café Borrowdale, which is set to switch on the independence celebrations.

Top DJs Jason Le Roux, Bhana and Victor Bravo are behind the decks and will be pleasuring patrons with their house and electro dance vibes.

Old Kebab Centre re-launch

Kebab Centre along Enterprise Road used to be one of the top entertainment spots in town before it shut down.

The venue is re-launching today with an independence bash that features some of the most prominent DJs in the country.

With a line-up comprising of Dee Nosh, L Roy, Storm and T Fresh among others, the place is set to be electric.

Chapman Open Air Cinema

Chapman Golf Club’s open air cinema has been gaining popularity with each passing week and today they will be screening “The Life of Pi”. For all movie lovers who prefers spending their Sundays in the outdoors, this should be the place to be.
