There are rats in Zanu-PF.
Rats who sit right in the Politburo drinking tea and eating sandwiches with our high-ranking leaders of this beautiful nation.

Rats who are quick to divulge confidential deliberations that take place within the highest decision-making body of Zanu-PF.
There has been unprecedented confidential information that has found its way to the slums of the The Zimbabwe Independent newspaper and that Gamatox mouthpiece called Daily News.
It is surprising that well-to-do politicians with an otherwise fine and promising career find themselves snitching about what goes on in Las Vegas when we all know that what happens in Vegas should stay in Vegas.
It is fundamentally moribund to emulate the behaviour of that putschist cabal led by Joice Mujuru and her teddy bears through rabid disclosures of what would have taken place in Zanu-PF’s HQ.
Some of these rats actually think that someday day in their puny lives Mujuru and her surrogates will actually rule Zimbabwe and they try to curry favour by snitching to the private media.
What they do not know is that the media have no permanent friends, they simply have permanent interests.
When these rats begin to display behaviour at variance with the interests of the media, they will choke at the onslaught that they will receive.
Clearly these rats are in a rat race.
They are in pursuit of a frustrating, hard-to-break financial lifestyle that has nothing to do with the needs of the people.
They erroneously believe that Zanu-PF is heading for a demise — in fact they are the ones that are pushing for Zanu-PF’s demise in the hope of accumulating wealth through Gamatox means.
They live a lifestyle that is lived by countless sell-outs, oblivious to the very nature of it, to a degree that even when called upon, they would vehemently deny it.
These Judases live for nothing other than 30 pieces of silver.
They have subjected themselves to a time-consuming job of bugging Politburo discussions, saddling themselves with heavy reputational risks and consequences through busting their integrity at jobs that will not reward them in the long run.
They have a misconception that getting more money through spying on what goes on in Vegas will solve their financial distress, but unfortunately those who subject themselves most voluntarily to the rat race just spend more and more time digging their own graves.
“I’m not interested in money but in the good of this nation,” you will hear some of them say. If they aren’t interested in money, then why are they thanklessly wasting their lives away?
Instead of being snitches, they should realise that there exist many options for financial gain so that they exit the rat race.
Remember, the definition of insanity also entails doing the same thing over and over again, in the hope of getting a different result each time.
They keep snitching, spying, snooping and selling-out thinking that the party will derail – but it never has and it never will.
Zanu-PF is not a party of rats.
If you are a rat you do not belong to Zanu-PF and you do not stand for unity, peace and development.
Rats are of no fixed abode and cannot even be sanctified to belong to opposition parties.
They are lone-rangers who gnaw at anything that looks edible. They gnaw at Daily News, they gnaw the Zimbabwe Independent; and when they are done gnawing them or if ZimInd or Daily News have nothing more to be gnawed on, they move on to other prey and will gnaw MDC and gnaw at Gamatox until their own demise.
They are in a rat race because they are rats. A rat race is for rats. Zanu-PF is not for rats.
It is a party that rejects the insidious pressures in society that would blunt critical faculties.
Our First Lady, our Dr Amai — Cde Mafirakureva — is right about the goings on of Politburo and Central Committee members who back-stab and back-bite other party members through clandestine leaking of information to journalists in the private media.
It is only a matter of time before she names and shames them like she always does. Watch this space, because Cde Mafirakureva will soon reveal to us who these rats are —their size, colour, shape and smell.
Right now the greatest enemy of the State are these rats and I can’t help but imagine that vendors should come to our rescue with mushonga wemapeta nemakonzo.
Soon you will hear the sound of silence.
The Politburo will meet for years to come and there will just be silence because the rats will have been dealt with.
And when you hear that silence, sniff the air and you will smell the stench of rotting rats which do not belong to Zanu-PF.
Dubulaizitha!
