Makandiwa prophecy causes stir

PROPHET Emmanuel Makandiwa allegedly foretold the long running cash shortages and the introduction of bond notes meant to improve liquidity in the economy, according to a video recording which has gone viral.

The United Family International Church (UFIC) leader gave the prophecy during a church service on January 1, 2011 – four years before the cash shortages started biting in 2015.

Prophet Makandiwa, who recently torched a storm over a video in which he said he had done everything to qualify for Heaven, told the congregates in 2011, that he saw in a vision that the United States allowed Zimbabwe to use its currency but the western nation would soon withhold its dollars and cause cash shortages.

He stated that South Africa would offer help Zimbabwe but would not succeed due to a number of prohibiting factors. The UFIC founder and leader added that God even revealed to him that Zimbabwe would introduce home grown measures, in this case the bond notes, to contain the cash challenges.  Prophet Makandiwa gave the prophecy two years after the country had adopted the multi-currency system in 2009.

From 2009 to 2015, the banking public could access its cash without but problems started around 2015, resulting in the introduction of bond notes in 2016.  Economists have given varied reasons behind the cash shortages including low manufacturing to generate export earnings, externalisation and lack of confidence in the banking system.

But the new dispensation under President Emmerson Mnangagwa is working tirelessly to turnaround the economy and solve the cash problems.  Prophet Makandiwa added that the US involvement in the cash shortages could be a plan to disturb the economy and influence how the 2018 elections will be held.

In the video recording broadcast on UFIC’s Christ TV, Prophet Makandiwa said; “As I was praying; I was moved to a certain place. I saw three birds, the first one feeds on fish – it’s the fish eagle, the second one was an eagle which was carrying the stars of heaven and I tried to count the stars.

“The last bird was carrying the sun; the funny thing about it, is that it had the ability to write some notes and minutes. The Lord showed me the place where the fish eagle, which was the main actor in this scenario, was staying. Its nets was made up of its feathers…ranga rakagadzira dendere nemunhenga waro.

“There was a problem with the nest; the feathers were not enough to cover the family. The feathers were not enough to cover the fish eagle’s children.  “Then I saw that eagle with the stars of Heaven and it was flying coming from the West. When it observed what was happening, it dropped its feathers to help the fish eagle. The fish eagle was comfortable but as it was sleeping, that flying eagle returned without notice and forcefully took back its feathers as if the fish eagle had no right to use the borrowed feathers.

“The fish eagle’s feathers and its children were exposed for a season. Remember, the eagle with stars from Heaven just returned forcefully without notice and it was very aggressive and it affected the order of the eagle fish as it tried to cover itself with its own feathers. “The other bird had the ability even to carry the sun and could write. It visited the same place and looked at the situation. It wanted to help the fish eagle but the family of the bird which was carrying the sun could not allow their mother to help the fish eagle to the extent that they tried to kill the mother just to stop the relationship.”

In the video, a Christ TV official interpreted that the three birds represented three countries and the fish eagle is the one which appears on the Zimbabwe flag and the one with stars of Heaven was the bald eagle which appears on the United States dollar and the stars are the ones on the US flag.

He explains that the one which could take notes represents South Africa because the secretary bird is found on that country’s court of arms and the sun is placed on top of the bird.

It’s only idiots who think that the shortage of the US$ is caused by the USA withholding its money. You think it’s the US taxpayers duty to give cash to Zimbabwe?

    • Kundai

You’ve only proved yourself to be the idiot so tell me what’s the difference between the USA & US taxpayers?

Indeed this prophecy was given many years ago…the wise already gleaned everything they could from this prophecy and planned accordingly! If ever we are to be serious as a nation, let’s learn to make hay whilst the sun shines.

In other words, when a grand prophecy such as this is given, let our economic planners and relevant authorities align state planning, agendas, strategies and policies as such. Even the private sector and even at the household level, let’s use every word that comes from God as such.

When Noah warned the people about the great flood, most despised him as an attentions seeker, a fake and false Prophet. I like the ending of this, he and a select few had the last laugh….many perished in their worldly wisdom. When the Prophet has delivered the message it’s no longer up to him.

Today, allow me to respectfully disagree with contributors here who insists that the Prophets are attention seekers, fake and false Prophets. I also want to point to a few of the several prophecies publicly shared and are available on YouTube for the benefit of all those following this matter and would want to have a feel of the ‘Makandiwas the Prophets’ that we know.

I have purposely drawn examples from different prophecies because I am very curious to know just how much objects, big governments, high ranking officials and others can be sweet – talked and bribed to be a part of such huge prophecies? How long would it take to stage-manage such prophecies? How much can UFIC pay to achieve such grand prophecy results?

Apart from the Currency prophecy you can google Heathrow prophecy, Margaret Thatcher prophecy, Forced Amnesty prophecy, Cyril Ramaphosa prophecy and continue searching for more just to have a feel of ‘the Makandiwas – the Prophets that we know’

Now, I will challenge you nay sayers!

Firstly, among the people who have received prophecies, some were first time visitors/others had never set foot on UFIC grounds/some do not even know about UFIC existence. Recipients of prophecies have been equally shocked to receive prophecies concerning things to come, no one else has been privileged to know. Others have received prophecies about matters only known to them, even their closest family members or spouses never knew about. How then can the Prophet fake such? For those who have suggested the Prophet has underdogs who spy information, how then is this still possible?

      Secondly, I want to refer back to some of the prophecies highlighted earlier and interrogate you a bit more;

      1. Most of the prophecies hereby referred to are international in nature and concern attributes that one can never predict with such astounding accuracy, unless they are a True Prophet, and again that Prophet must be very sure of their standing with their God, because of the magnitude of the prophecy they are about to share. Let’s take the Heathrow prophecy and the Currency prophecy, which both concern objects.

The currency prophecy concern money, three economies (Zimbabwe, South Africa and USA). Knowing fully well the confidentiality and protocols of our own RBZ, and even the federal of the USA and South Africa, how can the Prophet fake such? He explores prophetically the economic dynamics of events that are still to happen, including the introduction of a stopgap currency – bond notes, how will people react to that stopgap currency, and other elements that the RBZ itself has never projected or ever guessed. Only to find it all true when it finally unfolds? How can the Prophet bribe an economy?

The same for the Heathrow prophecy who can ever guess about that!

      2. Some prophecies concern characters, people. Very high ranking officials to say the least. They have never set their foot on UFIC grounds. How can members of the congregation forge a meeting with these high ranking officials for instance, the late Margaret Thatcher, Cyril Ramaphosa, E.D Mnangagwa, Hillary Clinton and sweet talk them to reveal things that they haven’t yet experienced and worse still don’t even know that such is coming in the future? How can a Prophet fake all this? Maybe if these prophecies were all about local people, we could say makuhwa eZimbabwe, ko apa toti chii?

      3. There are some prophecies that concern minerals and oil reserves. Most technological innovations might fail to detect this, but there is an eye – the Eagle Eye that can see within and beyond the physical. The prophetic eye!

      4. For other international prophecies concerning big countries and economies like China, Russia, USA and many other countries- please nay sayers help us understand how it is possible to sweet talk these governments to stage-manage prophecies that sometimes have consequent loss of human life and infrastructure? How much protocol does the Prophet has to endure and for how long, while we wait for the manifestations of the prophecies? How much can an African pay or give the international community for such stage – management? How much can airlines be bribed to make their aeroplanes part of this stage management? So you mean all these countries are faking too? How much money can UFIC give to achieve this kind of faking? Please let’s be realistic in our critical appreciation.

      5. And other daily prophecies concerning sicknesses and diseases, correction of addictions etc. How can one stage manage such affliction on human bodies? All those advanced cancerous conditions, how much makeover can one require/endure to create fake cancerous sicknesses and diseases?

Also, how much can one be paid to stage-manage accidents to the extent of loosing dear family members in the name of pleasing a fake Prophet? How much can you be paid to loose any part of your body to make fake?

How about prophecies concerning unborn babies! How much can unborn babies be paid to fake deformities? How can unborn babies be sweet – talked by a Prophet, that which the mothers carrying the pregnancy can’t hear? or see?

It’s very unfortunate that we have failed to see how much we have been saved from the various vissisitudes of life only because of the presence of the Prophets….

Well, I want to conclude by saying that it’s only by the power of the Holy Spirit that such is possible. Our helper, comforter, friend who sticks closer all the time.

I thank God for the gift of the Prophets, I don’t want to even know/imagine what could have happened in their absence!

As long as they live it’s to our benefit!!

You are very silly. You are not qualified to comment about my finances. For your information I run my own businesses and aside from my business accounts, have way more than a thousand US dollars both in my personal local FCA as well as my SA based bank accounts. You are gullible that’s why you allows yourself to be taken for a ride by your lying and fake prophet Makandiwa.

  • Emerald

Nonsense! The lying and fake prophet Makandiwa has no solution for me or anyone. He should stop claiming to be a prophet when he is not, and he should stop lying to people that he can pray for HIV and cancer sufferers and they are healed. Your Makandiwa is a joke who has made money from gullible followers like you.

Hawawo, uri dofo remakoko. Do some research before you make a fool of yourself in public.
The Zimbabwean national bird IS the fish eagle, or more precisely, the African fish eagle (Haliaeetus vocifer). In the Shona language it is called Hungwe. The fish eagle has deep ties to the history and culture of the Shona in Zimbabwe. Hungwe is a totem bird, and is greatly respected bymany Shona clans. It too has links with the spirit world due to its association with pools and lakes of water where it catches its prey, symbolising the union between the real world and the spiritual.
