ZIMBABWE National Soccer Supporter Association leader Eddie “Mboma” Nyatanga has urged Zimbabweans to come in their thousands and cheer the Warriors to victory against Liberia today.

The cheapest ticket has been pegged at a minimum $3 and the supporters leader expects a big crowd at the National Sports.

Nyatanga is confident the Warriors will prevail over the West Africans and kick start the journey to the 2019 Afcon finals on a high note.

“We want Zimbabweans to come in their numbers to support our new look Warriors squad,” said Nyatanga.

“Our theme colors are green and yellow and by putting on jerseys of the same colour, we won’t only frighten the visiting team but we will also boost morale for our boys.

“The trick is to win all our home games and possibly try to get a draw on the road”

“The Warriors should use this home advantage and win at the National Sports Stadium.”

Nyatanga also paid tribute to ZIFA president Phillip Chiyangwa and Warriors interim coach Norman Mapeza.

“It is also a day to celebrate the achievement of our president Phillip (Chiyangwa), he has done the country a lot of good and we should show him appreciation by coming in our numbers.

“One day he will lead us into hosting a big tournament, so numbers will count as a gesture of appreciation.

“We must also show great respect for our coach and his technical team because this is the first game of our journey to the 2019 finals in Cameroon. We should start it with a positive result,” said Nyatanga.
