ZIMBABWE will not have any representation in the Caf

Caf had given two slots to Zimbabwe for the Confederations Cup which is usually preserved for the winners of the premier knock out cup and the team that finishes third in the league.

The league champions and their runners-up have will be involved in the more prestigious African Champions League.

Motor Action and Dynamos have been registered for the 2011 Champions League while Highlanders and Hwange who have been invited for the Confederations Cup have turned down the offers.

The slots were extended to CAPS United and Shabanie but still there are no takers.

PSL chairman Twine Phiri and treasurer Harrison Mbewe said teams have cited the financial burden involved as they lack sponsorship from the corporates.-Herald Sports
