Idiots may cost Bosso

THE Highlanders supporters who caused the abandonment of the Battle of Zimbabwe at Barbourfields last Sunday are an idiotic lot.

Yes they are!

Nothing – including raising money though Ecocash in order to help Bosso raise the fine they are sure to be slapped with by the Premier Soccer League – can change that fact.

That bunch of buffoons cost their team a chance to prove how good they are, they cost their team some goodwill in the eyes of potential sponsors and they probably cost their team maximum points too.

Former broadcaster Ezra “Tshisa” Sibanda, himself a Bosso fan, was scathing in his attack. Ezra shot from the hip, in typical Sir style, when he took to Facebook.

“Highlanders-Dynamos game stopped once again by dumb lunatics who hate the club so much. Those are not Bosso fans but enemies of the club. These cowards try to use Bosso as a political tool to score points.

“The club, already swimming in debts, has been suffering for years because of these imbeciles invading the pitch regularly with Bosso paying the price. These brainless idiots use their backside to think,” he said.

He wasn’t done, no not yet.

Added Sibanda: “Why do they hate Highlanders like that? Surely these morons don’t feel for our club which is financially crippled but want to create more and more unnecessary expenses. These thugs don’t think.

“Maybe Bosso would have gone on to win convincingly in the second half nobody knows. Now the club will be hit hard and possible (sic) Dynamos given all three points. It’s time to for these monsters to be banned for life to deter would be thugs. Leave our club alone you fools!”

That right there, dear reader, is some home truth. Barman, give this man a Bells! Now all eyes are cast on the PSL who have in the past failed to walk the talk in as far as violence is concerned.

Last season DeMbare were supposed to play in an empty stadium as punishment for the crowd trouble that rocked their match against FC Platinum at Rufaro.

However, that sentence was suspended and life is going on as normal. Now how will Bosso view a verdict that orders them to play their next home game behind closed doors?

Will they not cry double standards especially considering the fact that Dynamos president Kenny Mubaiwa is also the acting PSL chairman?

Sir, meanwhile, will not comment on whether Thomas Kusosa made the right call when he allowed Christian Epoupa’s equaliser to stand because he is no expert in this field.

Besides he, just like Wicknell Chivayo, celebrated when Rahman Kutsanzira opened the scoring at BF. All Yours Truly can do is pray for Mr Kusosa because life has been tough on the guy since May 14, 2017.

Deda smokes peace pipe We expected George Deda to get in touch after last weekend’s instalment. He did alright but his guns were not blazing, he was waving a white flag.

“It is always said wise men are the ones who takes criticism in a positive way and I am one guy who is always ready to be corrected,” Deda said via email.

“Like you said in your closing remarks I am ready to be schooled and it is those that are ready to listen that will reap the rewards.” Deda is a top guy; it takes one to admit error.
