ITS journey started at Cecil Hotel, Bulawayo, in December 2016 – changing the face of showbiz in the City of Kings and Queens forever.

And last weekend, the trendy nightspot, whose management company never compromises on quality, opened its doors in Livingstone, Zambia.

To say the place was buzzing on the opening weekend would be an understatement, it was on fire, packed to the rafters.

With the same five-star standards set in Bulawayo, the Zambian club has been an instant hit with reports from the resort town indicating that both tourists and locals have fallen in love with its ambience.

The man behind Club Connect and several other brands, Biggie Chinoperekwei, says he intends to take his products to the rest of the continent.

“Soon we will be in Botswana, Namibia and South Africa as we continue to take showbiz to another level. There is nowhere on earth where this hospitality business is not required.

“We have mastered the craft of providing the very best in entertainment and recreation. We continue as well to send our people to various parts of the world to learn how people in other countries do it,” said Chinoperekwei.

The reigning National Arts Merit Awards Promoter of the Year, in recognition of the sterling contribution to the arts industry by his other clubs like City Sports Bar, believes that as tourist arrivals continue to grow not only in Zimbabwe but other countries in the region and beyond, so will demand for quality, tested hospitality.

Which is why his company, Devine Assignments, is taking over Chez Ntemba. Not the brand but the place it used to occupy. Soon that exquisite two in one nightclub nestled in the NetOne Building will be known as Club Connect.

Construction work to spruce up the place and put it on the same level with the other two Club Connects (Bulawayo and Livingstone) have commenced. Set for an April opening, the management company has promised to leave no stone unturned in their quest to give the capital’s five-star entertainment chasers the best nightlife experience.
