Chisel The Debris: Surprising details about who tried Jesus Sunday Mail

The Sunday Mail

WE are still patiently chiseling lots of debris to reach for a possible historical and mystical Rabbi Yahoshua the Nazarene buried underneath the rubble of the celestial and mythical Hellenic Iesous (Jesus).
Last we week we established that the alleged sequence of events were as follows: “Yahoshua was arrested at night, appeared before Annas the former High Priest, then Caiaphas the current High Priest (John 18:13, 24), then before the whole Sanhedrin at daybreak (John 18:28; Matt.27:1; Mark 15;1; Luke 22:66), and then they led him to Pilate (Luke 23;1-2; Mark 15:1-2; Matt.27:2), who sent him to king Herod (Luke 23:6-12), who examined him and then returned him to Pilate (Luke 23:13-16).”
We covered three of the trial stages and realised that it was outside the Hebraic legal system. Would the Hebraic authorities have been so brazen to make Yahoshua undergo an illegal process to please their masters, the Romans?
This casts serious doubts on the authenticity of the narrative as provided for in the gospels! Let’s continue with the alleged stages of the trial and not be misled by faith-based position of Pauline literalists.
Luke 23:1 says, “And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate,” a Roman Procurator of Judea. Yahoshua was led early in the morning (John 18:28).
Yahoshua would be defiled under Hebraic law if he was to enter a non-Hebrew court of law (John 18:29). Pilate had no mandate to have Yahoshua face trial under his authority because he had not been charged under Roman penal code.
This shows that the Roman Empire was not interested in enforcing any of the Hebrew offences but was interested in having Yahoshua arrested, tried and convicted on fraudulent grounds.
Legally, there was no basis for Yahoshua to have appeared before Pilate and the fact that it is recorded in the gospels means this stage is fraudulent.
None of the Hebrew charges against Yahoshua would interest the Roman Empire. This was covered in detail a few weeks ago in this column (“Why was Jesus arrested?”) Pilate sent him over to Hebraic Galilean King, Herod upon knowing that Yahoshua was Galilean (Luke 23:6-7). No trial was conducted except Yahoshua being mocked and harassed by a mob (Luke 23:8-11). Again there was no legal basis for Yahoshua’s appearance before Herod. This is further evidence of the fraudulent trial process or falsified narrative about what may have happened.
He was brought back to face Pilate for the second time (Luke 23:11). Under the Roman code of criminal procedure, there were four steps: laying of a charge; interrogation; defence; and verdict of conviction or discharge.
None of these were observed when Yahoshua faced the Roman Pilate.
The Hebrew Sanhedrin did not have jurisdiction to put Yahoshua to death because the chief priests and elders had realised that the guilty verdict of blasphemy had failed to be proven by credible witnesses. The purpose of taking Yahoshua before Pilate for the second time was to change the charge to an offence of treason under the Roman penal code. Yahoshua was then brought before Pilate now to be considered to be against Caesar, the ruler of Rome. Therefore the Hebraic court illegally switched the charges from blasphemy to sedition/treason when he appeared the second time before Pilate.
As has been noticed right from the start, the power of the Romans is in the background leading to a fraudulent arrest and trial. This would lead to a false narrative to exonerate Romans and put the blame on the Roman-appointed Hebrew priestly class.
Yahoshua had to be arrested, tried and killed under whatever circumstances. Therefore, the narrative indicates that the criminal charge against Yahoshua had changed to sedition or treason (Luke 23:2), a crime against Rome. No evidence of sedition or treason was presented. (John 18:29-30)
And after a brief interview, the Roman governor, Pilate, determined Yahoshua was not guilty of the charge under Roman law and declared him innocent. (John18:38; 19:4; Matthew 27:18, Luke 23:13, 14, 24, 25)
“Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him; for I find no fault in him”. (John 19:6)
How can it be possible that Pilate would ask a riff-raff Hebrew mob to do whatever they wanted to do with a faultless person under both the Hebrew and Roman legal systems? Why would he then be punished in an extreme Roman way at the hands of a Hebrew mob?
Under the Hebrew legal system, only the Sanhedrin could find him guilty and that did not happen. The involvement of Romans on a supposedly Hebrew crime would have led to a concocted trial of Yahoshua.
This clearly shows that the events to do with the arrest, trial and execution were fraudulent ones or that the gospel narratives were deliberately distorted by ignorant Christian scribes or some friendly to the Roman Empire.
