CAPS UNITED fly out to Tunisia today on a mission to give their Caf Champions League campaign a kiss of life.

The support of NetOne making club president Farai Jere breathe much easier and the availability of key players has also boosted confidence.

The Zimbabwean champions will play Al Ahli Tripoli of Libya at a neutral venue in Tunis on Wednesday night desperate to get their continental campaign back on track.

Makepekepe currently anchor Group B with three points from as many matches and another defeat to a team that smacked them 2-4 at home at the beginning of the month will be catastrophic.

However, unlike the last time out coach Lloyd Chitembwe has an injury free squad with big goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda set to make the trip.

Skipper Hardlife Zvirekwi has also fully recovered and the team is scheduled to leave at lunchtime on a journey that will see them passing through Johannesburg and Cairo before connecting to Tunis.

A partnership between the Green Machine and NetOne, through their immensely popular OneFusion product, has made the trip possible.

“We would like to thank NetOne for the partnership with the popular OneFusion product,” said Jere.

“This partnership started at the beginning of the year with all our players migrating to OneFusion. Our supporters have also started using the product and we envisage the number that is using the product to swell as we launch a massive marketing drive.

“There are a lot of exciting and mutual beneficial initiatives in store and look forward to a fruitful partnership.”

NetOne has proven to be a true friend of the local game with the company supporting the Warriors as well as offering its OneFi internet service to journalists when they cover matches.

The company powered the Warriors to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and even flew fans to watch the tourney.

NetOne was reportedly ready to pour over a million dollars into Dynamos and Highlanders but had their efforts frustrated by the two giants’ principal sponsors BancABC.
