CELEBRATED Joyous Celebration member, Mkhululi Bhebhe, is in the country to explore its beauty.

The Zimbabwean born artiste arrived in the country last Thursday from his South African base and performed at the inaugural Honde Valley two-day music festival which ended yesterday.

His exploration and evangelism missions have spanned the depths of the world as he has toured five continents since 2015.

Speaking to The Sunday Mail Religion, Bhebhe said his main purpose in Zimbabwe is to explore and appreciate his country.

“My visit here is to explore Honde Valley, I have never been there and when the woman of God, Apostle Victoria Samushonga, extended her invitation to me, I could not resist it.

“Of course, singing is the other reason I am here but particularly I am here to explore my beautiful country,” Bhebhe said.

“Next week I am visiting Dubai then Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Namibia, Canada and Australia.

“God has given me the grace to evangelise to nations, tribes and people around the world and that is what I am doing with my tours,” said the 29-year-old artiste.

Before returning to South African, Bhebhe will also feature in a video shoot for Zimpraise choir director, Wellington Kwenda’s album.

“In recent months I did collaborations with Mathias Mhere on the song “Vana VaJesu” which I believe is a great song. I also did another song with Wellington Kwenda and Tembalami Praise,” he said.

Bhebhe also gave a hint on the pressure he works under as a member of Joyous Celebration.

“Joyous Celebration has a tight calendar and over the years I have been trying to establish my own brand and I can safely say that I am making great strides.

“My Shona songs are becoming popular everywhere I go. For example on the much awaited ‘Joyous Celebration 21’ which we recorded at Bishop TD Jakes’ Potter’s House Church in Dallas, Texas in the US, I also performed a medley of the Shona track “Zvamaronga” and “Mwari anotsvaga” and I am convinced the songs will be hits.

“In the history of Potter’s House, I am told people had never gotten an opportunity to be on the same dance floor with Bishop Jakes. But during my performance the Bishop mingled with the people, dancing, and I was overwhelmed,” he said.

Brethren Keeper’s Ministries founder Apostle Victoria Samushonga, who is hosting Bhebhe, said God told her that He will bring nations to Honde Valley and the visit by Bhebhe signified the beginning of great things that God wants to do in Zimbabwe.

“This is the beginning of what God promised me. Honde Valley Music Festival is here to stay and more international artistes will visit Zimbabwe, ministering in the Eastern Highlands
