THE day that many wedding enthusiasts have been waiting for has arrived. This Saturday Rainbow Towers Hotel in Harare comes alive as it plays host to The Sunday Mail Bridal Expo. This annual extravaganza is one of a kind; the biggest and most exciting in the country, a spectacle not to be missed.
From the best in the wedding cake business to those providing the trendiest décor, there are sure to be exhilarating products and services on show.
Those who have attended previous editions can confirm that there were breathtaking exhibitions and this year is set to be more explosive. Global bridal trends are fast evolving and so is The Sunday Mail Bridal Expo, which takes on a one-day format this year.
Zimpapers corporate events manager Jackie Kathemba said the response from exhibitors had been great.
“We already have many individuals and companies from various parts of the country that have registered to exhibit their products at the expo and I am sure by the time we get to the event more exhibitors would have come on board,” said Kathemba.
“We are inviting bakers, gown-hiring boutiques, flower arrangers, wedding planners, photographers, providers of wedding stationary, venue operators, equipment hiring services, transport providers, caterers, marriage counsellors, directors of ceremonies and wedding entertainers to come and showcase their products.”
She added that preparations were now at an advanced stage and they were doing everything to create a memorable event.
“We have been putting in a lot of work into this event to ensure that both the exhibitors and people coming to view get the best experience possible. The Sunday Mail has been hosting this expo for a while now so over the years we have always tried our best to improve it in every way possible.”
