A litany of unfulfilled prophecies BOGUS? . . .Prophet Madungwe who falsely predicted that God was going to visit Zimbabwe last week

Religion Writers —
ON Sunday November 6, 2016, prominent Nigerian prophet, TB Joshua, prophesied that Democratic party candidate Mrs Hillary Clinton would win the United States presidential election ahead of Republican candidate Mr Donald Trump, by a narrow margin.

However, the opposite happened: Mr Trump trumped Mrs Clinton by a siginficant margin and will next year be inaugurated as the president of the US. TB Joshua is not the only man around with an unfulfilled prophesy. He is in illustrious company.

Prophet Makandiwa
In January 2013, UFIC leader Prophet Makandiwa prophesied that gold would be picked from the ground across the country as part of divine solutions from God.

He said, “As I was praying, I saw a wind blowing and I saw gold coming to the surface. People are going to be picking up gold without any drilling … The people who have been looked down upon will be picking up gold like they are picking up stone. The Lord told me “This is for my people.”

Three years down the line, we are still having to dig for gold.  Two years later, Prophet Makandiwa gave another prophecy, saying huge oil reserves would be discovered in Zimbabwe.

Prophet Makandiwa said: “I saw something happening here and I’m trying to see how it is going to be understood. By this you will know that if you have heard a joke before in the same area, this is not a joke.

“But I’m seeing something. I’m seeing oil coming out of our grounds. Just in case you think I’m guessing, I will tell you the place no one knows about so you know that in this nation, there is a prophet from God.

“And the Lord said to me, ‘Are they going to find it? If they find it, is it enough for the problems that you have?’ And then I kept on looking and the Lord said to me, ‘They can continue, but let me take you to the place. I will take you to the place.’ When I was taken to the place, I saw the sons of the fathers mining in a different place.”

Today, there is a fuel shortage of sorts in Zimbabwe.

Prophet Austin Liabunya
Controversial Malawian prophet, Austin Liabunya, prophesied that President Mugabe was going to die in 2013. Last year, the same prophet revised his prophesy and said that President Mugabe would die by December 31, 2015. He made these utterances at New Year during a cross-over service in Lilongwe.

Liabunya said, “Mugabe’s biological clock will not tick beyond this year,” after which Zimbabwe would be “restored” to be one of the richest countries in Africa.  President Mugabe is still alive and well.

Prophet Madungwe
Another controversial character, Prophet Talent Madungwe of the Exile Desire of All Nations Ministry, claimed that God would visit Zimbabwe on October 20, 2016.

The prophet made the claims of God’s visit on August 29, 2016 following what he said were previous physical visits to God in Heaven on two separate occasions – January 1 and May 20, 2016. He added that his 29th birthday was celebrated in Heaven during his first visit.

However, Friday October 21, 2016 dawned without any rapture, apocalypse or Armageddon.
