SHARP SHOOTER: The Yanks can never kill our real lions Morgan Tsvangirai

The Sunday Mail

The tale of a perverted Yankee with an obsession to inflict pain and misery, who hunted down a Zimbabwean lion for over two days with a bow and arrow, is strikingly symbolic of the manner in which the British and Americans have hunted down President Mugabe over the last two decades but have frustratingly failed to take him down.

While the West mourns the death of Cecil the lion – who took over 40 hours to die after being wounded, tracked, shot, skinned and beheaded — Zimbabweans of an analytical mind draw parallels with the cruelty that Yankees have wounded our country with sanctions, tracked all our elections in a bid to effect regime change, shot down all our economic aspirations, skinned our kinsfolk so that they may think they are white skinned, and beheaded them so that they may think with a white man’s mind-set.

Cecil was much-loved by Yankees, just like Morgan Tsvangirai and friends.

Just like Morgan Tsvangirai, he was lured with bait and became almost a domesticated Anglo-American cat.

Just like Morgan Tsvangirai, Cecil had a tracking collar for research purposes.

They skinned him and beheaded Cecil just like they have made Morgan Tsvangirai think he is white skinned and think with a white-man’s head.

If you like, you may substitute Morgan Tsvangirai with Barack Obama for greater effect and you will realise that the black mane that Cecil had was actually a white man’s trappings.

These are the lions that the Yankees will kill and behead and treasure as pitiable trophies.

I mean these Cecil’s, these Tsvangirai’s and these Obama’s; these are the medals the Yankees bestow on themselves.

They ululate for conquering them and just like Walter James Palmer, they simply have no remorse because Cecil, Obama or Tsvangirai are a means to an end in which they believe Africa in general and Zimbabwe in particular will eventually be subverted and subjugated regardless of the 1957 winds of Ghana that blew independence across the entire continent.

These pathetic Yanks! They come to our backyard and hunt weak lions. They play games and drink from the same watering hole as weak lions like Cecil, like Tsvangirai, like vendors.

When the real lion, President Mugabe, roars, they know they have a real battle on their hands.

Real lions are not afraid of Yankees. Real lions will never leave their pride to run into anarchy and chaos.

Real lions cannot be hunted by bows and arrows; they stand their ground and fight for their pride even if it takes a lifetime to do so.

President Mugabe has said: “We don’t need the British ambassador here, we don’t need the American ambassador here. But they would want diplomatic representation with us … so they have to behave. Behave and you will be in peace with us, misbehave and we will kick you out right from the bottom. It’s our country.”

Straightforward. Dignified. Uncompromising. A real lion.

Only real lions stand up like that; not the poor Cecil’s or Tsvangirai’s or Obama’s who are used and abused and led to the slaughter like the sheep that they are.

Yankees have lost the fight against the real lions of Zimbabwe and it is pathetic to celebrate Pyrrhic victories over lions like Cecil.

The real lion of Zimbabwe is President Mugabe. They have fought him and fought him and fought him endlessly but he has been unconquerable. He remains unbowed.

The cowardly Yankees always aim for soft targets like Cecil, like Tsvangirai, like Obama who are easy to manipulate. They lure them, bait them, tag them and amuse themselves for political sport before beheading and skinning them.

These soft targets are like the character of the horse called Boxer in George Orwell’s “Animal Farm”.

Once the Yanks are through with them, they will take them to the knackers.

Did you hear the waffling of that Kenyan cub dressed in a Yankee’s skin at the headquarters of the African Union? “Nobody should be president for life” Obama parroted when his Yankee masters actually meant to say “No African should be a real lion for life.”

A real lion for life like President Mugabe scares the living daylights out of these Yankees. They cannot stand it. They fear what a real lion in Africa is capable of.

And if there were really any standing ovations given to Obama they must have been effected by weak African cubs who are baited and tagged to do so.

The Yankees are yet to win a victory against real lions like President Mugabe or like the Baroka in Wole Soyinka’s “Lion and the Jewel”.

President Mugabe, like the Baroka, has won the heart and mind of the Jewel and he will protect and guard it jealously while he awaits the offspring of his ideology to sprout for the good of Zimbabwe and Africa.

Meanwhile, the Lakunle characters who have been influenced by Western ways — such as Cecil, Obama and Tsvangirai — are relegated to sideshows that do little to perturb the crafty Baroka, the real lion — President Mugabe.

The real lions live.

And soon the hunter shall become the hunted.

Dubulaizitha!
