Didymus Mutasa is worse than a bad loser.

He is behaving like an excommunicated papal aide who is trying by all shameful means to avenge his dis-fellowship from the revolutionary party by snitching imaginary State secrets.

It is crystal clear that he is seeking relevance in a very dishonourable manner by saying he was ready to stand in court and give evidence on how the ruling Zanu-PF party rigged the 2008 election “if approached” by the opposition MDC-T.

What evidence is Gamatox Mutasa going to give in a court of law against the ruling party which does not in turn incriminate him as the former Secretary of Administration of the very same party he claims to have rigged 2008 elections for?

Here is a fool who intends to testify against himself. Here is a mad man with a healthy appetite for the gallows who intends to switch from plaintiff to defendant and eventually to the prison cells where he rightfully belongs.

If Zanu-PF rigged the 2008 election then Gamatox Mutasa should be put to his defence because he was, as then Secretary of Administration, the administrator of the rigging. Through the looking glass we can therefore see that Didymus is simply trying to poison the well which he drank from for years and years.

Now that he does not have access to the watering hole he is devising diabolic methods of poisoning that well in a desperate bid to make those still drinking from it, as thirsty as he is.

Didymus is broke.

He has fallen on hard times and he is trying to irk out a living though sinister means. He is bankrupt financially, morally and politically and therefore instead of contemplating suicide, a thought that nags him night in, night out, he is trying to earn a dollar and cheap mileage by holding several meetings with MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai to strategise for the 2018 elections and being more than will to testify as an MDC-T witness in a fictional rigging fantasy that he purports occurred in 2008.

What is certainly perplexing about Gamatox Mutasa is that now he claims to be a leader of a cabal called People First and yet on the other hand he claims to have been an expert and an administrator in rigging the very people he asserts are now his first priority.

It’s scandalous. It’s venom. It’s poison that he is offering the people before putting their needs first.

When you are selfish you become vile but those with blinkers like MDC-T and Tsvangirai neither see either the self-seeking interest of losers like Mutasa or the revolting intentions they seek to serve.

It is this banal and myopic mind of the MDC-T that made them lose the 2008 elections including subsequent elections and not the imaginary rigging mechanisms of a party that knows how to organise the masses to vote for them.

If MDC-T continues to listen to scums in the mould of Gamatox Mutasa they will be poisoned and making an impact during the 2018 elections or any other elections beyond that will remain a pipe-dream.

One wonders how MDC-T can have the higgidy-piggidy boldness to trust some like Didymus Mutasa who was unceremoniously bundled out of the ruling party for treasonous intentions that smacked of a coup d’état.

Mutasa was disloyal to Zanu-PF and disloyal to President Mugabe and disloyal to the country. So why would he now be loyal to the MDC-T? Some insights do not need much persuasion but surprisingly Tsvangirai and his MDC keep tripping on the same stumbling block again and again.

For instance, reports that MDC-T is mulling dragging the ruling party to court, engaging the African Union, as well as the regional power broker SADC, and lobbying the international community over alleged electoral fraud is yet another sad reflection of the cartoon characters that are in their leadership.

That pompous, overzealous and foolhardy MDC-T spokesperson called Obert Gutu said last week that the opposition had the puzzling bravery to use the information from Gamatox Mutasa to lobby local, regional and international bodies against Zanu-PF.

Surely, is roping in a mad man’s assertions as evidence-in-chief is what MDC-T’s political strategy all about? So it had to take the confessions of a debt-ridden political scavenger for the MDC-T to warm up to challenging a 2008 election whose run-off they traditionally boycotted?

It’s like saying MDC-T are going to court to challenge the results of the recently held by-elections of June 10 which they anxiously stayed away from. It’s like claiming a wife you never courted or claiming a pregnancy which you never conceived.

MDC-T never ceases to amaze me; they exhibit their foolishness at critical times like this when their support base is fast dwindling.

Their remnant of fans must be wondering how on earth MDC-T’s leadership decides to drink from the poisoned chalice handed to them by Gamatox Mutasa.

Seeking political legitimacy proffered from the bankruptcy of a Gamatox cabal must surely be a revelation of the lowest form of relevance which the MDC-T finds itself in today’s Zimbabwean political space.

The MDC-T can trust Mutasa at their own peril. I am not sure however, how they can trust someone who claims to have rushed to protect President Mugabe at State House after the 2008 elections and yet Mutasa could not protect himself from being ousted from the ruling party.

What protection was Mutasa talking about really? Protection from what Didymus? Protection from Tsvangirai? Tsvangirai, that weakling, that lily-livered coward who fled to self-imposed exile in Botswana in 2008 certainly did not pose a threat.

Besides, President Mugabe was under the protection of the constitution; he was under the protection of the people who voted for him so what protection was Mutasa referring to?

It is really bewildering that the MDC-T all of a sudden now believes that Mutasa will offer them protection through thumped-up hallucinations of a 2008 election fraud.

Funny how, without a second thought, the MDC-T finds a friend in Mutasa because he claimed to have protected President Mugabe even though he could not protect himself and his sell-out objectives while he was in Zanu PF.

Didymus Mutasa is trying to poison our peace by threatening to reveal make-belief State secrets. He should be stopped in his tracks. He has now demoted himself from a bad loser to an enemy of the State.

He should not be allowed to enjoy the peace and freedom that prevails in this country because he is a shameless enemy of the State.

He is a terrorist bent on causing mass destruction through spilling phoney beans in a bitter act of sour grapes.

Whilst bad losers may roam free in this beautiful and peaceful country; enemies of the State should be incarcerated, exiled or in my opinion and more appropriately hooded in front of a firing squad.
