Rookie of the Year and Dynamos right-back, Blessing Moyo has vowed to stay at the league champions.

The roving right-back believes the Glamour Boys will clinch a historic fifth title next season.

Moyo, who in September was linked with a move across the Limpopo to Super Diski side Mamelodi Sundowns, assured the DeMbare faithful that he will be available next season to contribute to a possible record fifth title.

“It has been a great season for the team (Dynamos). Personally I want to thank the coach Kalisto Pasuwa for investing a lot of confidence in me.

“Despite the periods I made numerous mistakes he (Pasuwa) encouraged me a lot and was very patient with me.

“That boosted my confidence and brought this award today. As such, I would like to fight for the championship which I am confident we will retain next season,” Moyo said.

Moyo, who hails from Mufakose, rose through the Dynamos’ junior ranks with Pasuwa shifting him through different positions on the field.

The lanky 19-year-old, who played with the aplomb of a veteran, finally settled comfortably as a right-back after having been initially played in the midfield.

The coming of Moyo onto the scene saw veterans in vice captain Thomas Magorimbo and utility player Oscar Machapa being relegated to the bench.

With the near-flawless display he demonstrated during the season, Moyo said he was sure the most promising young talent award was his.

“When I came here I was very confident that I was going to win. The award is an honour and I would like to thank my father and my teammates who supported me throughout the season.

“Football is a game that requires patience and my teammates were very patient with me and that contributed to my success. I want to aim for greater things next season,” Moyo said with confidence.
