2018: RCU offers Harare weekend, evening classes

THE Reformed Church University (RCU) has maintained a cost-effective approach to offering quality tertiary education in its on-going enrolment drive for February and April 2018; a move which shall see employed commerce students being enrolled for weekend and evening classes in various degree programmes at the RCU Harare Highfield Campus at affordable tuition fees.

The University’s systematic approach to bringing convenience and value for money to its students is being done with the view to improve access to quality education in the country at a time when the cost effectiveness is taking centre stage in university education.

The programmes offered at RCU are tailored to meet the students’ academic and professional needs and are relevant to the society and economy at both local and regional levels.

Enrolment is in progress and applications are invited for admission into undergraduate degree programmes. Applicants must hold at least 5 O- Level passes at grade C or better, including English Language and Mathematics, and two (2) A-level passes or a Diploma or any other equivalent tertiary qualification. All Reformed Church University programmes are accredited by ZIMCHE.

The duration of the degree programmes is three (3) years.

Degree programmes in the Faculty of Commerce shall be on offer beginning February 2018 through weekend and evening classes.

Those in the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Arts, Theology and Religious Studies shall have a one month long block in April 2018.

How to Apply

Application forms can be obtained from the Reformed Church University Harare Highfield Campus or Reformed Church in Zimbabwe Congregations nationwide.

Alternatively the forms may be downloaded from the RCU website (http://www.rcu.ac.zw) and submitted with proof of payment of the application fee.

The application should then be submitted together with certified copies of national ID card, birth certificate and educational certificates.

All completed application forms should be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of US$15 for Zimbabwean applicants, and, US$30 for international students deposited in the ZB Account 4564 679129 200, CBZ Account 02524191060018 or CABS Account 1006254676.

Students can make arrangements to pay fees through payment plans, stop orders and SSB (for civil servants).
